The Extreme Mustang Makeover is an event that is a true test of basic
horsemanship and an opportunity to win a combined purse of up to
$200,000.00!

Mustangs represent the spirit of America.  The goal of EMM is to promote
the quality and value of mustangs.  The event also provides trainers an
opportunity to showcase their ability to transform wild mustangs into
suitable horses for ranch work, recreational riding, and performance.

The Mustang Heritage Foundation, in partnership with the Bureau of Land
Management and the Nevada Wild Horse and Burro Commission, brought
200 wild Mustangs, gathered from Nevada hills to the Fallon BLM holding
facility in Nevada and the Paul Valley facility outside Oklahoma City.  The
Mustangs were all similar in age, size, and condition.

Trainers picked up the Mustangs in June, and competed in September at
a three day competition in Fort Worth, Texas.  Trainers had 100 days to
prepare their wild mustang for the competition.

All Mustangs who participated in the Extreme Mustang Makeover event
were available for adoption through an adoption auction held Sunday of
the event.
